Spring is Here!

It is an understatement to say that the last winter was cold. We experienced hail, snow, and below freezing temperature in the Bay Area. So you bet I am ecstatic to look forward to warmer weather, blooming flowers, and sunny beach days.

One of my resolutions this year is to explore my creativity self. I am open to trying ANYTHING, and I do mean ANYTHING. That means I will doodle when my toddler picks up a crayon, I would deconstruct and sew her undergarments when they are too big for her, I would write a blog even though I am terrible in expressing myself, I would decorate our front door with a wreath even if I am not crafty.

So I do what I do best, I went shopping, at Michael's (yes at this point, shopping is my only talent). I chose a color platte of white, blue and green with a floral hoop, and all Spring faux flowers were 50% off.

Since the hoop looks bare, I decorated the hoop with loose flowers.

Then I finished the wreath with the rest of the flowers.

My husband helped with the zip ties and taught me how to use a glue gun for some finishing touches. Fina helped me with the design and rearranged the flowers. Though the wreath doesn't look perfect, it was definitely a fun family project.
